Frequency and amount of sessions depends on you, your needs and desires. I suggest we start with weekly sessions for us to form a therapeutic relationship. After we have formed a relationship, some clients, but not all, start to feel fortnightly sessions suit them better. We will incorporate reviews periodically to check progress and ensure the therapeutic relationship is working for you. You, your needs and desires determine the number of sessions we have together. I suggest we discuss ending therapy 2 to 3 sessions before doing so to help us prepare.
I offer video, telephone or in-nature sessions. Face to face sessions Exmouth, Exeter, Newton Abbott or Plymouth, are a possibility, please enquire. More details about these are in their own sections. My current availability if Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays 10-8. Weekends can be discussed.

Our first session together will be free. I recommend video call for our first meeting, but telephone can also be a option if you prefer. During the session we can discuss weather you would prefer video, telephone or stroll-in-nature going forward. We will need to discuss and agree on our therapeutic contract.
Beyond this, the session aim is to help discover if I am the right therapist for you. It can be used to explore what your expectations of therapy are, any aims you would like to work toward and/or areas you feel would be beneficial to explore within a therapeutic relationship. However the is no expectations to talk about anything specific, its more of a exploration to see if you feel we could be the right fit together.

Your therapy sessions are a space for you to feel safe, unjudged and heard by someone who has no agenda but to hear and support you. I aim to be a empathic and demonstrate my full acceptance and support to enable you to explore whatever you feel you need too. You are the expert of yourself!
